The Williams Elementary Comet Cruisers running program is looking for individuals, organizations, and businesses to sponsor students to complete a couch to 5K program this spring. We will begin in mid March and run the 5K during Riverfest weekend. It is $80 to sponsor a runner to receive certificate, t-shirt, and a brand new pair of running shoes. In honor of school board appreciation month, Jonesville Community Schools would like to thank our school board members for all they do for our staff and students. Jonesville Community Schools would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the Jonesville Police Department for their work on the recent break-ins and vandalism at JCS. I know Director Etter and Sergeant Albright put in extra hours to help put a stop to it and it paid off. Thank you!!!

Jonesville Community Schools would like to thank Ryan Scheetz from ABC Challenge for the $400 donation! Our kids competed in the challenge which is a one and a half mile obstacle course that includes climbing, crawling through mud, sliding, and problem solving. Williams Elementary had some of the most participants. Go Comets and thank you ABC Challenge!
Comet Community! I have posted the facility assessment from Elite on our homepage. It's an icon right on the front. If you go to page 15 on the assessment it gives you cliffs notes and key (P1, P2, etc.) for the entire assessment. The following pages provide detail. I will be sending out a survey some time next week to get your feedback on what you all see as priorities.

JCS was fortunate that some of the systems we utilize were/are separate from the Jackson County ISD. We will continue to monitor diligently though.

Good evening,
Over the weekend, our technology consortium suffered a systems outage. The outage affected critical operating systems in the district, including but not limited to heating, telephones, and classroom technology. Jackson County ISD technology staff is working to fully investigate the disruptions and to restore affected systems.
Because this will take some time, superintendents from both Jackson and Hillsdale counties have determined the best course of action is to close schools for tomorrow, Monday, November 14, 2022.
We understand the difficulties this decision may cause, and appreciate your understanding and patience as our technology team works around the clock to get our systems back online and our students back in school. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

The Jonesville Community Schools has changed the meeting time and place for the November study session. The November study session will now be held November 21st at Jonesville High School at 6:00. We will be listening to the facilities report so please come to hear the results!

Comet Community! A reminder that the Concord gym is up for sale and the walkthrough will be offered at two times tomorrow. The first is at 8:00 am and the second is at 3:00 pm. We are accepting sealed bids until October 28th.
Comet Community! Jonesville Community Schools is now accepting sealed bids for the Concord gym property located at 140 Concord rd., Jonesville, Michigan. The bids will be opened at the October 28th board meeting. Please read the "Notice of Conditions" and "Purchase Agreement" that you will find located on all of our websites at the top.
A walkthrough inspection of the Property, including the building, will take place at 8:00 am and 3:00 pm on October 13th, 2022. Other walkthroughs will be by appointment only.
